I used it about 4 times and then stopped. The color is absolutely gorgeous - it works beautifully as a lip base, looks great when I overline my lips, and even works nicely as a blush. But here's the problem: the flaking is really intense. No matter how much I prep and moisturize my lips beforehand, the dry patches show through terribly and it transfers everywhere, making it basically unwearable. Color staying power is just average Thanks to the lightweight, powdery texture, it doesn't transfer onto masks much, but after eating, the color fades quite noticeably, so you'll need to reapply frequently. Since it doesn't stain like a lip tint, the longevity is a bit disappointing. We recommend using it after applying lip balm and defining your lip line First apply a thin layer of lip balm to hydrate your lips, then gently blot with a tissue to remove excess oil before applying the lipstick. This gives you better color payoff and significantly reduces texture showing through. The Shell Nude shade especially has a lot of white cast, so even just applying it highlights every fine line and dry patch dramatically. Wearing it alone is basically impossible, and whenever I try to use it as a base, it looks so patchy and emphasizes texture I didn't even know I had. There's just no way to make it work. If you're thinking about buying this, I'd really recommend swatching it on your lips first before deciding. It feels so smooth and looks so much more pigmented on the back of your hand, but the color payoff is totally different once it's on your lips.

Color: This light coral beige shade is perfect for those with deep undertones. The soft, delicate tone works beautifully as a base lip for deeper undertones. Finding a matte coral beige base lip like this is genuinely rare, so I really can't recommend it enough to anyone with deep undertones! Dry patches showing through: Even though many matte lipsticks hide dryness well, this one tends to emphasize dry patches (see photos). The color is so gorgeous that I want to wear it alone, but the visible dryness means I usually need to layer something else underneath, which is disappointing. Staying power: Since it's not heavily matte, the adhesion isn't as strong, so the wear time is a bit shorter than I'd like. Durability: I experienced an issue where the entire lipstick suddenly cracked and chipped off. Pro tips: Layering a hydrating tint in a muted grape pink shade on top works beautifully, just like Rom&N Bare Grape. Even without that specific product, any muted grape pink lip tint layered on top will look absolutely stunning with this shade!
