The product itself is really nice, but it's just not working for my skin. When I use the full amount, my face looks like something out of a horror movie. I'm not sure if it's the product or just my face, but either way, it's definitely not a match for me. I've started using just a tiny bit as a blush instead, and that works much better. Not really. Honestly, the dark shade just doesn't do it for me. I was worried about buying this without being able to test it in store and only going by reviews, but the color turned out to be even prettier than I expected! I'm really happy with it!! It's definitely matte, so you'll need to exfoliate your lips a bit before applying it to get a nice finish

I'd highly recommend this for anyone with a cool, deep winter complexion. You'll notice your skin looks more radiant when you wear it. This unique shade was hard to find among my collection of tints, but if I had to compare it to similar shades, I'd say it's between Rom&nd Zero Velvet Tint 21 Villain's Best and Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint 17 Plum Cock. Villain's Best leans more red, Midnight leans more plum, and Plum Cock sits right in the middle. I was browsing the Rom&nd website and discovered this unique shade that you don't typically see at regular beauty counters, so I bought it right away. The alluring wine tone completely captured my heart. This is perfect for daily wear if you have a cool, deep winter complexion. When I saw this color, I thought wearing it on a snowy winter day would make me feel like a mood goddess, honestly. That's how captivating this shade is. I think many people with cool, deep winter complexions will fall in love with this color too, so I really hope they don't discontinue it. I'm 100% planning to repurchase! While the lipstick does a good job filling in lip lines overall, when you look closely, the Midnight shade doesn't perfectly smooth out fine lines. That said, you can fix this by blending it out or applying multiple layers. Deeper colored lipsticks tend to clump a bit, and this Midnight shade does have some of that issue. Also, since it's a lipstick formula, you'll need to exfoliate before applying it, and it does get a bit dry as time goes on, which is a drawback. It looks beautiful on its own, but if the color feels too bold for you, try applying Rom&nd Zero Matte Lipstick 10 Pink Sand as a base first, then use this shade as a pop of color on top. I thought I was getting a deep plum shade, but it's more of a red-pink with just a hint of plum. My undertone is cool and deep, so I wish the color was darker. It has a matte finish and the staying power is impressive. Even when I layer it multiple times, it doesn't get clumpy, which I really appreciate. I think people with cool, deep undertones will find this to be their perfect shade. The color is absolutely gorgeous and has that perfect matte finish, but it applies so smoothly too! I'm definitely planning to grab another shade. And honestly, the case itself is really pretty. I do find myself being extra careful when applying it so the product doesn't get on the case. This slightly warm-toned shade is absolutely perfect for cool-deep skin tones Since it's a matte lipstick, it does tend to emphasize dry patches and texture a bit
