I'm not an expert, but it seems like the color is indeed quite intense for deeper skin tones. That said, when I apply it carefully and blend it well, the color payoff is actually really beautiful! I've been using a very light hand with this product, and it works wonderfully that way! I have naturally flaky skin, and let me tell you, if you don't prep and exfoliate first, everyone will notice the texture issues. You really need to make sure your skin is smooth and well-prepped before applying this product. When applied with a light touch, the color looks absolutely gorgeous.
