This cool-toned brightener is fantastic! I apply it sheer as a base, and it works beautifully for layering too. The color payoff and vibrancy are really impressive. The dryness is pretty unavoidable with this one. This muted tone is perfect for those with cool undertones! I think it would look absolutely stunning on anyone with a cool complexion. I have a light undertone, but honestly, this shade feels way too muted and dull for me. It's really designed for those with muted undertones, and the color just doesn't work with my skin. On my skin, it applies with a subtle vanilla-like feel and sits beautifully bright. The shade is absolutely perfect as a base color, and the staying power is seriously impressive. Even though my lips tend to get flaky, I can wear it all day without any peeling showing through. My lips don't feel super hydrated, but they look polished and don't have that unflattering texture, which I really love. Honestly, there's nothing major. I guess it fades a bit when I eat, but that's just something you have to accept. I've tried this light undertone shade, but it does lean a bit dark and falls into the muted tone category. If you're like me with cool undertones, you might find it too dark for your skin tone. I'm using just a small amount as a base. It has that streaky, patchy finish and emphasizes dry flakes quite a bit, which is frustrating. This is seriously cool! The color looks absolutely stunning on cool undertones, it's so pretty. It's perfect as a base lip product. The dry patches are pretty noticeable, and while it does fill in fine lines, it doesn't seem to do it as well as I'd hoped. The color is absolutely gorgeous! It applies just like velvet, fitting my lips perfectly as if it were made just for me. You really need to exfoliate your lips first before applying this. I absolutely love the color! The application is so smooth and easy right from the start. But when I layer it on, it seems to emphasize any dry patches I didn't even notice before. It's not like I'm not taking care of my skin properly.
