I find that brightness matters more to me than temperature, and when I wear highly saturated lipsticks, I can look a bit washed out. That's why I used this product as a blush and accent lip instead. The velvet formula makes it perfect for blush application. I just dab a little on a puff and blend it down from under my eyes to create this dreamy red makeup look. The red shade isn't too warm, so I can actually pull it off, though I do use it sparingly. For the lips, I need to use even less than I would on my cheeks because the saturation is so high that even a tiny amount looks deep and intense. The formula itself is fantastic—it doesn't feel slippery or clumpy at all, making it really easy to work with. It applies with a beautiful blurred effect, and I love that it doesn't dry out my lips or make them feel tight. Unfortunately, the color just doesn't work well with my skin tone, so it's not something I reach for often. This tint has such a smooth, velvety application that glides on beautifully. For a velvet tint, it's surprisingly not overly drying and feels incredibly lightweight as it goes on. The pearl red shade is the perfect classic red—exactly what you'd expect. You can build it sheer for a fresh, natural look or layer it on for a bold, intense color. I personally dab a small amount and blend it out to add a subtle flush to my cheeks, and it works wonderfully for that. While the color payoff isn't super strong, when you apply it thinly and carefully fill in the fine lines, it doesn't feel heavy and actually lasts a decent amount of time. The formula tends to clump when it comes out, so you really need to be careful with how much you dispense. The color intensity is so strong that if you apply too much, the pigment just sits on top of your lips looking patchy. The shade is so deep and vibrant that I found myself having to use a different applicator or blend it out with my fingers, which honestly felt like a hassle. The color is rich and intense, but if you apply it thinly and blend it out, it looks absolutely gorgeous. The color payoff is seriously impressive - it's so pigmented that even a tiny amount lasts for about two hours before it starts to fade. The staying power is fantastic, and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with warm or deep undertones. The color is so dark and intense that if you use too much, it can look overdone. I really loved this! The color is vibrant without being overwhelming, and it has this beautiful cherry-toned red vibe rather than a classic true red. It's the perfect balance. It fades quite a bit after eating. The color transfers onto everything, which is pretty frustrating. It gets messy when I'm having meals.

The blending is seamless and it applies so smoothly. If I had just picked a better shade, this could have easily become my everyday go-to. It's super easy to apply, so I love using it as an accent lip when I want to add a pop of color. The color is really intense, so I find myself hesitant to use it. Though honestly, that's probably just my personal preference. The color is absolutely vibrant and the pigmentation is incredible! What you see in the tube is exactly what you get on your lips... It's more of a semi-matte finish than dewy, and it doesn't dry down too quickly, which makes it perfect for creating gradient effects. Once it fully sets, the color stays put beautifully! I'm really happy with how long this lasts after application. I mainly use the red products, and I love the red tone it gives. Plus, it doesn't feel too matte, which is perfect. Of course, it does fade a bit after eating or drinking over time, but I guess that's just how it goes. If you prep your lips first, apply this product, and then layer a small amount of lip balm to prevent that matte finish, the color stays put longer and your lips stay nicely hydrated throughout the day.
