The product itself is absolutely stunning. It has such a luxurious, sophisticated feel that I'm completely drawn to. I'm really impressed with the packaging too. The shade looks a bit different on the lips compared to in the container, but it's so beautiful. But honestly, the best part? The blending is incredible! Since the color doesn't set too quickly, blending is super easy, and even if I make a mistake, it's so simple to fix and blend out. The color payoff is a bit on the lighter side. While the blending works well, if it doesn't absorb completely, it tends to transfer and smudge, which was disappointing because the staying power wasn't as strong as I'd hoped. Even though this is a velvet tint, it's surprisingly not drying at all, so you can apply it without using a lip balm first and still get beautiful blending. The color stays true and doesn't fade—what you see is what you get. 1. It transfers onto masks. 2. You get a lot of product with each application (I've started dispensing less to make it last longer). This is such a universally flattering shade that you can easily use it as a blush too.

I've been trying out shade 24, which is called Fade Red. Rom&N Zero Velvet Tint has this signature soft, velvety formula that adheres beautifully to your lips. The color payoff is instant and impressive—you get exactly the shade you see right away. It's a moody, slightly faded red that's absolutely gorgeous and so atmospheric. This tint doesn't just add a beautiful pop of color to your lips; it can actually brighten your entire face. The formula blends really well, so you can create a soft gradient effect by applying it lightly for a more subtle mood. When you apply it as a full lip, it delivers a bold, concentrated statement on your lips alone. I really appreciate that they paid attention to the packaging this time. Moving away from the original gray packaging was a choice I'm really happy about. The color stays true to what you see in the tube, which is fantastic. When you apply it to your lips, it feels incredibly lightweight and comfortable—like a second skin. It's a comfortable matte finish that doesn't dry out your lips, which is such a relief. The way it settles into every fine line on your lips is amazing; it fills them in evenly and smoothly. At first, it glides on so smoothly, then quickly sets onto your lips, making your lip makeup routine super fast and satisfying. If you have a fair complexion, you might find this shade quite intense and deep. I'd be hesitant to recommend it for lighter skin tones. It also seems like it might not be the best match for true cool undertones either. This tint transfers quite a bit. Even if you press it down for perfect adhesion, you'll still experience some transfer, so I'd recommend skipping this if you're planning to wear a mask. While Rom&N tints generally have great application and lasting power, the ingredient list isn't particularly impressive. For the sake of your lip health, I'd suggest not wearing this constantly. + Packaging Design: The overall vibe of the design is better than the previous version, but the cap and the main product have this dusty white coating all over them. Honestly, when I first got it, I thought actual dust had gotten on it and tried washing it off with water! Turns out it's intentional packaging design. The texture feels strange when you touch it. It seems like they were going for a vintage filter aesthetic with this tint's design concept, and they really committed to it, but the tactile feel is just off. Smudging it out as you apply really makes it look prettier! It gives the whole look so much more atmosphere!
