I'm still using this product! After rolling it for about 3-4 minutes, those textured areas become incredibly smooth. I especially focus on rolling it over my nose, under my lower lip, and along my jawline, and I'm always thrilled when I feel that smoothness come through. I love the scent! It's my kind of fragrance, and it seems gentle without any irritation, which is perfect for me. It's just okay, which is disappointing. I used to use a different oil cleanser that left my makeup feeling stubborn and hard to remove, but this one washes away my entire face beautifully. That said, even with universally low-risk formulations, some people might find it doesn't suit their skin, so personal testing is definitely worth doing. The emulsifying and cleansing power is solid. It worked smoothly for me without any hassle during use. You know how reducing irritation can weaken cleansing power, right? This seems to aim for that middle ground and balance things out. It's ester oil-based but uses relatively gentle emulsifiers, so the cleansing isn't super powerful. It's plenty sufficient for basic makeup and everyday grime removal, which is exactly what I need, so I'm satisfied. Obviously, for waterproof products, use a dedicated makeup remover to ensure complete removal. Even if it looks like it's coming off, it might not be completely gone. If you use a fixer with strong hold, the cleansing might feel slightly insufficient too. Choose a combination that matches the level of cleansing power your makeup routine actually needs. Limited additional benefits beyond basic cleansing. Any skin-conditioning functions beyond cleansing are pretty minimal, honestly. It doesn't dissolve oil thoroughly enough, so deep cleansing isn't really possible. If you have very oily skin, acne-prone skin, or tend to get clogged pores and breakouts easily, you might find this a bit disappointing. You'll probably want to choose a second cleanser suited to your specific skin type and use a deep cleansing treatment periodically to make up for what this one can't do. When people say something has great value for money, it's because budget products work when you layer them strategically, but that means there are definitely trade-offs. This makeup remover really does the job! I'm especially impressed with how effectively it removes mascara. The oil cleansing works wonderfully too, though I haven't specifically tested it for blackhead removal or exfoliation purposes, so I can't speak to those benefits. I honestly can't think of any real downsides. This cleanser really delivers on cleansing power, and the green tea scent is absolutely lovely and fresh. I also love how pretty the packaging is! If it gets in your eyes, it stings quite a bit. I use Clio eyeliner and Kiss Me mascara, and this cleansing oil removes them completely! The cleansing power is really strong. I love the green tea scent and the generous amount you get. Even without water, just the oil melts away makeup as it warms against your skin, and when you add water to emulsify it, everything rinses clean! I also appreciate that my skin doesn't feel dry after cleansing. Strong cleansing power means there can be more oil residue left behind, so a thorough second cleanse is absolutely necessary. Don't mix it with water from the start. Begin your first cleanse using only the oil!
