When my skin feels sensitive and irritated, this product calms it down beautifully without any tightness or dryness. The scent is really off-putting for me, honestly. It smells like someone who's eaten way too much spicy food, which is a shame because everything else about it is great.

After using this emulsion, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin texture and breakouts have really cleared up. The consistency is just right, and it spreads beautifully on the skin. It's one of those rare products I actually use all the way to the bottom of the container. There's really just one thing that bothers me about it. Since it comes in a pump bottle, once there's about 20% left, the product stops dispensing properly. Because the formula isn't liquid enough to flow freely, I have to shake the container vigorously and then pump, or just unscrew the cap and scoop out the emulsion by hand. It's honestly quite inconvenient. Even though it has an emulsion formula, it clings to the skin with a creamy moisture that really helped ease that uncomfortable dry feeling underneath. What I loved most was how it absorbs smoothly without any stickiness, so I could use it comfortably on sensitive days without any irritation. The hydration is great, but the formula feels a bit heavy, which can feel suffocating during the summer months. The pump dispenser makes it so convenient to use. That said, there really aren't any other positives to mention... The scent is really off-putting. At first, I thought the emulsion had gone bad... It has this fishy, watery smell, and I was shocked to learn it's supposed to be a herbal fragrance. Every time I apply it, the scent bothers me. I have extremely dry skin and need a hydrating cream even in summer, but this emulsion just doesn't deliver on moisture. It applies smoothly and absorbs well, but it's way too lightweight for my parched skin. Even in the height of summer, if I only use this emulsion, my skin starts feeling tight within minutes, and I absolutely have to follow up with a hydrating cream. My skin profile: T-zone tends to get oily, cheeks have redness, U-zone is dry, my face and scalp run hot, and my eyes are sensitive. The texture glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. The moisture does fade fairly fast though, so I find myself applying it twice to keep my skin from feeling tight. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with oily or combination skin. It's a solid, reliable product that works well. The scent is off-putting.
