Retinol is essential, so I decided to try this for the first time despite having sensitive skin. There's definitely some irritation, but it works fine if you apply it thinly! Don't slather it on thick—just use one pump and spread it lightly. My neck is relatively less irritated, so I've been applying the leftover product generously there. I haven't noticed my pores tightening yet, but I think consistent use will show results over time. I'm not using this daily—just every other day instead. There's no major irritation and no fragrance, so I'm really happy with how smoothly it applies and how well it absorbs. I'm usually someone who doesn't get along well with bakuchiol, but this has both bakuchiol and retinol in it. Surprisingly, I can still use it without issues! If you have sensitive skin, you absolutely need to adjust the amount. There is irritation, so you need to be careful when using it. After using retinol, hydration is a must! Apply a hydrating product in your next step.

Real barrier's signature moisture layer Once applied, the inside feels hydrated while the surface feels silky. The moisturizing power that tackles retinol's typical dryness is actually pretty impressive. Light and fresh texture It's not heavy or greasy, and absorbs quickly. You can use it comfortably even during summer. Pores don't shrink instantly It's not the type where one or two applications make a dramatic difference. You need to use it consistently to see visible results. I experienced slight stinging for about 10 seconds after application Looking at the ingredients, people with sensitive skin might feel some mild irritation.
