I have oily, acne-prone skin and I'm thrilled that breakouts have stopped appearing. I've also noticed it's really helping fade those stubborn acne marks! It does feel a bit dry during fall and winter, but mixing in a drop or two of facial oil completely solves that issue for me. I discovered that products containing glycerin and caprylic/capric triglyceride were triggering breakouts on my skin. Even though I have extremely sensitive skin, I'm using this product without any issues. The texture is a bit like sorbet and doesn't spread as smoothly as I'd hoped. I have atopic skin, and when my skin was really irritated, I used this more like an emulsion rather than a heavy cream. When I applied it and let it absorb well, it seemed to really calm things down! I'd definitely recommend this for acne-prone or sensitive skin since it's formulated with calming ingredients. It applies so smoothly and has a really soothing scent that matches the formula. It's gentle and hydrating without being heavy, so I've been using it daily and went through it faster than expected! While it's true that the calming ingredients make it mild and gentle without irritation, it doesn't seem to actually make existing breakouts disappear. It's pretty decent, nothing too extraordinary or anything. It's just... okay... not super hydrating, but definitely not overly dry either... and it actually works well for oily skin too. There's something oddly slick and slippery about it... and even though it feels greasy, it doesn't actually feel moisturizing. It's not dry exactly, but... it somehow seems to trigger breakouts. I'm noticing some uneven skin tone and discoloration appearing.

When you apply it to your skin, there's definitely a protective layer sensation. The hydration is decent, though I wouldn't say it's absolutely amazing. If you have dry skin, you might find it a bit lacking. That said, it does have a nice calming effect. It seems to work well for acne-prone and sensitive skin types. I'd recommend it for everyone except those with very dry skin. I'm not a fan of that occlusive, film-like feeling it leaves on the skin. It has just the right amount of moisture, which I really love. It's easy to use and works well for everyday wear. There's nothing disappointing about it. I absolutely love how hydrating and smooth this applies! My skin feels so comfortable with it. I'm usually a devoted fan of the extreme cream, but summer made it feel too heavy and greasy, so I wasn't reaching for it. I switched to lighter formulas instead, but that seemed to disrupt my skin's moisture balance—I started getting itchy and flaky. A friend recommended this, so I gave it a try. Since it's a calming emulsion with soothing benefits, my skin doesn't feel irritated or uncomfortable at all. It feels fresh and dewy when I apply it. Because this cream is lightweight without excess oil, I'd definitely recommend it for oily or sensitive skin types. Even though I have dry skin, I was dealing with breakouts and irritation from the summer heat, so I used it together with a hydrating essence and didn't experience any dryness. The formula might not provide quite enough moisture for very dry skin types. This worked wonderfully when my skin barrier felt compromised or when I suddenly had breakouts. Since it's summer, I keep it in the fridge and use it chilled—it feels even better that way!
