This lip balm is great because it has color and the formula is really good It does transfer quite a bit, but honestly the positives far outweigh that minor issue

My skin produces so much oil that even lip balms with high oil content make the surrounding skin feel slick, so I rarely use lip balm regularly. However, when my lips get dry, I have no choice but to apply it, or I'll use it before bed. When I do need to use it consistently, I prefer to dab it on lightly rather than apply it heavily. The scent is unscented. After using this product, I was really impressed by how moisturizing it is. My lips had flaking from dryness, but after using this product, the flaking disappeared quickly. I think this is the best lip balm I've tried so far. I've seen many tinted lip balms with weak color payoff, but this product has excellent color payoff. I'm also really happy with the shade itself. *Results may vary by individual* I didn't find any downsides. Since lip balms naturally contain oil, I apply it lightly by dabbing, just like I normally would. However, with most products, I either experience excess oiliness or don't see much moisturizing benefit. With this product, even though I applied it lightly by dabbing, it didn't leave my skin feeling greasy and the hydration was excellent, so I was very satisfied. If you find the oil content in lip balms too heavy, try gently dabbing it onto your lips consistently. The flaking will gradually disappear and you'll notice improved hydration. I love that this one product solves both the color and dryness issues in one go. When I tried it on, even though I usually go makeup-free, I could layer it multiple times and the color built up so naturally that it didn't feel heavy or overdone (though it definitely has noticeable color). The moisture level was exactly what I needed. Plus, knowing it's a vegan formula makes me feel better about using it. I have a light undertone, and I thought the shade I received would work perfectly since it's in the coral family and should complement my skin tone naturally. But when I actually applied it, I realized it's not quite right for cool undertones. The orange undertones just don't match my complexion. If you have cool undertones like me, I'd suggest trying a different shade. That said, I think this would look absolutely gorgeous on anyone with warm undertones. I love how you can apply this like a regular lip balm and rub it on multiple times without worrying about the color. It builds up so naturally and evenly. In the photo, you can see the difference from bare lips to about 3-4 layers of application.
