This is shade 23, perfect for cool undertones in winter. In person, it has this gorgeous grape-toned pink that looks so natural and is exactly what I was looking for in a cool-toned shade. I basically wear it as my everyday tint now. I used to be self-conscious because it would fade from the center of my lips after eating lunch, but this one is different. Even though some color does wear away, the staining stays put beautifully. My lips don't end up looking bare in the middle, which is honestly my favorite thing about it. I reach for this constantly when I'm out, especially during meals and social drinks. You really need to exfoliate your lips properly the night before for the best application. It goes on much sheerer than I expected, so I end up layering it 3-4 times. The application process is more tedious than I thought it would be. The night before, apply a generous amount of lip exfoliant or lip balm and sleep with it on. In the morning, make sure to exfoliate your lips thoroughly. Before makeup, apply a lip balm first, then do your base makeup and gently blot with a tissue. Apply the tint 2-3 times, coating both your lower and upper lips evenly. Skip the lip plumper and just let it set naturally. After a few minutes, blot once more with a tissue and add one more layer. If you line your lips with a lip pencil along the edges, the color will look even more beautiful and last much longer.

And here's a pro tip - don't use a lip brush right after applying it. Let it set for a moment as is! That way, the color doesn't just stain the inner part of your lips, it gives you full, even coverage all over. It's inconvenient to use... having to shake it every time is such a hassle... It feels like those old-school lip stains. The color payoff is fantastic and it applies so smoothly with a moisturizing feel that I really love It tends to be drying and emphasizes dry patches a bit. When I talk, it wears off pretty easily, and the formula sets way too quickly, which makes blending really difficult
