Since it has a water-tint formula, the color payoff was really impressive and worked beautifully. Honestly, I found it better to remove the oil layer altogether. When the oil mixed in, it felt like the product would just sit on top of my skin without blending properly. Plus, if I left it sitting, it would separate into three distinct layers—oil, water-tint, and pigment—so I had to shake it every single time before using it. That got pretty annoying. Here's a helpful tip: you can use a dropper to remove the oil layer when it separates, and then just use the water-tint formula on its own. This is my first time trying a water tint, and it sets so quickly that blending it is a bit tricky There's nothing really to complain about, but it does feel drying when I apply it, so I have to use a lip balm afterward
