I don't usually use lip and eye makeup removers, but I decided to give this one a try and I'm really impressed! It removes makeup so cleanly and effortlessly. I was especially struggling with removing mascara before, but now it comes off so easily. I'm genuinely happy with how well it works. If it gets in your eyes, it stings quite a bit. Other than that, there's not much else to say.

Ingredients: I wondered why this product is priced slightly higher than other budget options, and here's why - it's free from 20 major concern ingredients. Particularly, while paraben as a preservative is obviously avoided these days, many products still contain phenoxyethanol. Usually preservatives appear in small amounts at the end of ingredient lists, so I've accepted this in other products. However, this one uses 1,2 hexanediol as a preservative, which seems to deliver both hydration and preservation benefits. Plus, whether it's a marketing ingredient or not, I noticed it includes centella asiatica extract, hyaluronic acid, and madecassoside to provide soothing and hydrating benefits. The centella asiatica extract especially feels like it's used in a meaningful concentration. Irritation: There's barely any eye stinging, and I noticed less of that sharp sensation or blurry vision when product gets in the eye. With other removers, I'd have to follow up with cleansing water on the eye area to remove the oiliness, but this one feels refreshingly clean as the slight oiliness disappears through the next cleansing steps. Cleansing power: Even glitter eyeshadow is gently emulsified and removed without irritation. The products shown from top to bottom are liquid shadow with glitter and shades, brow pencil, mascara, and eyeliner - if you're not doing full-on makeup looks regularly, you'll be very satisfied with how this works. Packaging: It's gorgeous and elegant. If you love pastel pink, you'll feel happy every time you use it. I even found out the color comes from plant-derived natural pigments. They really paid attention to every ingredient detail. Oil and water separation: With this lip and eye remover, you're supposed to shake it so the water and oil layers mix well before use, but just like other reviews mention, the oil layer separates again pretty quickly. Waterproof cleansing power: Everything else was great, but waterproof products don't come off in one go with this remover (mascara and eyeliner). So I had to hold it on longer before wiping. I understand that the famous waterproof brand even has its own dedicated remover, so I'm being realistic, but you'll need to put in some extra effort during cleansing. If you don't usually wear waterproof makeup, this remover is definitely worth using. The formula is really clean and gentle.
