I grabbed this mainly for the gorgeous color and beautiful shine, without expecting much, but honestly I've been reaching for it constantly lately! When I layer it multiple times, the color starts looking weirdly off and strange somehow I think applying it just once or twice gives the best results!

Dewy lips seem to be trending lately, but I actually prefer matte finishes and my lips tend to be quite dry (when I wear glossy products, they actually get even drier over time), so I thought I'd just stick with what I've been using. But trying this has made me crave that glossy look too! Here's what I was looking for in a glossy lip product: -Does it have good staying power? The reason I don't like glossy lips is because they don't last, they transfer easily, the dewy effect fades quickly, and fine lines become really pronounced. But this product is amazing—that glossy finish actually stays put until you remove it! Even as time passes, there's no fine line emphasis and the color holds beautifully! -How much does it transfer? Honestly, this is the most surprising part. After setting it and blotting once with a tissue, there's barely any transfer after that. And it's not like all the glossiness gets wiped away on the tissue—just the excess comes off while the transfer stops completely! The color stays intact without smudging anywhere! -Does it remove cleanly? This is super important too! Since I sometimes go without lip color and don't want it looking patchy, I need something with good color payoff that removes cleanly. This has both excellent staying power and color intensity, but it wipes away completely with just a gentle swipe of remover, which I love. -It's honestly rare to find a glossy lip product with all these advantages, but this one checks every box I wanted! I'm planning to buy other shades. This one leans more toward a muted pink with just a hint of coral and red, but I think I'd prefer the pear and plum tones more. -The packaging is super sleek and beautiful! The tint cap clicks shut with a satisfying sound, but I've had other tint caps that didn't close properly and I'd twist them repeatedly worried about leaking in my bag, which broke several caps. This product closes with a definitive click that feels secure and reliable. This doesn't have that watery-dewy feeling, so it doesn't apply as light and weightless as you might expect. Honestly, it's not overly rich or anything, and it's not really a drawback, but I mentioned it because some people around me don't like the feeling of wearing traditional lipstick. The applicator doesn't have that pop-and-dispense mechanism, so when you pull it out, you can't use all the product that comes out. If you keep putting the excess back, the opening can get messy over time. If you let it set for about 5-10 minutes after application, the staying power becomes much stronger! That alone is great, but if you set it and then blot once with a tissue and apply a thin layer again, the staying power gets even better!

The shade itself seems to work really well with warm spring undertones. In the second swatch photo on my wrist, the first one from the top shows one layer of color, the second is three layers, and the last one is the stain effect. Since the stain develops so naturally, it looks just like my own lip color, which I love! Even as time goes on, it stays moisturizing and dewy. I'm really happy that it doesn't emphasize any dry patches on my lips. It's not one of those muted, toned-down corals that are trending right now - this is just a beautifully bright coral! Since it has good saturation, it's not completely natural-looking, but the color is absolutely gorgeous. I'd say it's a coral that leans toward pink! The application is fantastic. I usually prefer moisturizing lip tints over matte ones, and I've noticed that some tints start with that glossy, glass-like finish but turn matte as time goes on. This one doesn't do that at all. The moisture stays put while the color holds strong, which I really love. It's definitely more moisturizing compared to other tints, but I wish it had a bit more hydration. If it were even more moisturizing, I think I could wear it through winter without needing a lip balm underneath. When I apply it more lightly than expected, it actually looks pretty even on bare skin. The color is a clear red shade that applies beautifully with a natural, seamless finish. Some products leak, but this one doesn't at all, and the slim applicator is perfect because it prevents me from applying too much product. When I wear it bare-faced, it gives me a healthy flush that looks natural. The scent is pleasant, and unlike some tints that taste weird when they get in your mouth, this one doesn't have that issue at all. The case is simple and slim, fitting perfectly in my pocket. With my own money, I'm thinking of trying the light undertone shade next! Some tints get darker with multiple layers, but this one doesn't because it has that candy-like finish. It's such a versatile product that I think people will reach for it constantly, so I definitely recommend it! Since I have a habit of biting my lips, I think if I use a lip sleeping mask or exfoliate, the color would apply more evenly across the entire lip instead of in patches. If you have the same undertone as me, I think it looks prettiest when you apply it as a gradient with just the tip of the applicator rather than filling in the entire lip. I noticed the official website has a lot of warm-toned shades, so it would be great if they created more variety in light undertone colors too!
