My mother in her early 60s borrowed it for about a week, and thanks to the glow effect and the nourishing oils, her makeup looked so much better and she even got compliments on looking younger! 1.) It does have quite a bit of oil content. Don't get me wrong—it's not an uncomfortable oiliness, it's more of a nourishing richness. But since I have oily skin, my base tends to break down pretty easily. The skin texture looks great right after application, but the cushion base starts to bunch up a little over time. Other than that, I don't really have major complaints. I think I would have been really satisfied if I'd used this during seasonal transitions or winter. In summer, the oiliness definitely makes the breakdown more noticeable. That said, sunscreen is something you use year-round regardless of season, so it should work fine in summer for people with dry skin. 1.) I'd especially recommend this for people with dry skin rather than oily skin. It's also great for younger people. If the glossy feeling bothers you, just use a puff to tap it in and you're all set.
