I tried this for coloring my gray roots and I'm really happy with it. My scalp didn't feel irritated or itchy at all, and the color came out beautifully. What I love most is that it's super easy to apply on my own without any hassle. The powder and liquid need a lot of shaking and you have to let it sit for over 5 minutes to mix properly. Plus, the dye keeps staining my towels, which is frustrating.

I discovered Seedvi, which has almost no harsh chemicals, comes in a generous amount, and is surprisingly affordable, so I decided to give it a try. Normally when my mom dyes her hair herself, it's difficult for her to reach the back of her head thoroughly, so she usually only colors the visible front sections. This time, I helped her do it properly. All the basic supplies are included. There's no separate brush, but the container has a really convenient design—you just mix the contents with water and shake it, then you can apply it directly to your hair. I simply wore latex gloves and applied it by hand. I was worried about uneven coloring if there was too much time between applications, so I carefully controlled the amount when applying it all at once to prevent dripping, and spread it quickly with my hands. The color came out beautifully even with absolutely no streaking. Since the dye only uses the product and water, even if there are any chemical components, they're truly minimal—less than 1%—so there was no concern about scalp irritation or hair loss. My mom was genuinely satisfied with the results, which made me really happy. What I loved most was that it has absolutely no smell! With no odor and almost no harsh chemicals, this dye is truly perfect for people with sensitive scalps or older adults with delicate skin. I have a lot of gray hair, so coloring is a must for me. I was looking for a gentler product when I came across Seedvi water-based hair color. First of all, there's no harsh chemical smell that you typically get with hair dye. Since it's a powder-type hair colorant that mixes with water without an oxidizer, my scalp feels refreshed and doesn't sting when I apply it, which I really appreciate. The medium brown shade looks the most natural to me. I do notice some color washing out when I shampoo for a few days after coloring, so I'm deducting one star for that. The shaker bottle that comes with it for mixing the water and hair colorant is pretty useless. No matter how much I shake it, the powder doesn't mix well and just clumps up. It's so much easier to just pour water into a coloring bowl and mix it with a brush instead. I mix it with water and let it sit for about 10 minutes. That way the powder absorbs the water and dissolves nicely. Since it's a vegan formula mixed with water, it feels really gentle and doesn't irritate my scalp at all. The color mixer bottle included makes blending super easy, and the color payoff is fantastic. The medium brown shade matches my hair color perfectly and looks incredibly natural. There is some color fading for a few days after coloring. Even though it's labeled as a gentle hair dye, there's barely any smell and it doesn't damage your hair at all At first I was really happy with it because there was no irritation, no harsh odor, and my hair felt so soft. The color took beautifully and my scalp felt comfortable throughout the process. Best of all, I didn't experience any hair loss! With regular hair dye, I'd always lose a lot of hair when I washed it after coloring, but with this water-based formula, my hair stays put. I ordered medium brown but it came out completely black. Ammonia-free formula with no harsh chemicals - so easy to use! I've been using this for about 2 years. It was fine at first, but recently my scalp started itching like crazy, so I had to stop. I'm confused because it's supposed to be free of harmful ingredients - why is my scalp so irritated? Also, the perm didn't take well. No harsh ammonia smell from this hair dye at all. My scalp is super sensitive and even gets irritated after professional salon coloring, but this product works great for me. I keep coming back to it because it's so gentle on my scalp. The color comes out darker than expected. Application takes a while, and even leaving it on for about 30 minutes doesn't give strong enough coverage on completely white hair—it comes out lighter than I'd like. Even when the color does take, it fades faster than regular dyes. When I wash my hair, I get brown-tinted water running out for about 2 to 3 days afterward. Results vary from person to person, but if you have a sensitive scalp, this could be a really good option for you. I was looking for henna and stopped by Olive Young to ask about it. The staff recommended this product, saying it has great ingredients. For my first time coloring, it turned out really well. I got the medium brown shade, but why did it come out looking so dark? Was it because of the hot weather? Or because I applied it late? (Since I'm not great at application, it took me 30 minutes just to get it on), and I used two packets for my shoulder-length layered bob. I was worried it would turn pitch black, so I rinsed it after 10 minutes, but it still came out as a deep, dark brown almost black. Hmm... The color takes beautifully, and the best part is that my hair feels like it just came from a professional treatment—it's incredibly soft, shiny, and my scalp feels refreshed and clean. The color fades pretty quickly, so I find myself needing to touch it up more often than I'd like.
