The tear strip at the top is cut vertically, so when I tear at the corners, sometimes product gets left inside the package. I wish it was designed to tear horizontally across the top like a coffee mix packet for a cleaner, easier opening. Even when mixed with water, it applies smoothly without feeling thin or watery, and it doesn't leave much color on the skin. I noticed some color fading continued to happen. It seems like I need to wash my hair and dry it completely for it to work properly. The color applied beautifully without any streaks or patches. I found that using the right amount of water really helps the dye work more effectively. The powder doesn't mix smoothly, so you need to shake it quite a bit. If you add too much water, the color doesn't develop as well. I didn't experience any irritation, but the price point is a bit steep for what you get. I was pregnant and looking for a gentle gray hair dye with quality ingredients, so I decided to try this. My scalp felt completely comfortable with no irritation, and the color came out beautifully. The mixing process is a bit tricky since the powder tends to clump together. You'll need to blend it thoroughly several times with the applicator brush, and tiny particles can scatter without you noticing. Using this product is incredibly simple and convenient. Just mix it with water and you're all set. I'm not seeing the color results I hoped for yet. So easy to use - just mix the powder with water and you're good to go. I love that it comes in individual packets, making it super convenient. The color didn't take well and it really damaged my hair. Even the included treatment didn't help fix the damage. The smell is barely noticeable, and I'm so happy about that! Since I color my roots frequently because I have a lot of gray hair, I've tried many different hair dyes over the years, and this one has the least odor of them all. My head doesn't hurt, my eyes don't sting, and I can definitely feel that it's much gentler overall. I also love that you can mix it with just lukewarm water without needing a separate developer. Plus, when Olive Young has sales, you can grab three boxes for around 10,000 won, so the price is really reasonable! After coloring, there is a bit of stiffness to the hair, but if you do a hair mask for a few days and take care of it with hair essence or oil, it bounces back pretty well. Brushing through isn't a problem at all. The product itself works great, but the packaging quality is disappointing. The powder pouch and the included shampoo and conditioner are hard to tear open with your bare hands, so I always end up frantically cutting them open with scissors or an eyebrow razor. The included conditioner formula is so runny that it starts pouring out the second you open it, so be careful! It's not enough for me, so I end up using an extra hair mask from home. While the dye does wash off skin and surfaces fairly easily with water, it can still stain if you wait too long, so I recommend rinsing it off right away. If you want vibrant, clean color results, especially when it's cold outside, leave the dye on longer, and don't add too much water when mixing. Whether you use a shower cap or not makes a big difference. If you mix it in a shaker bottle, it gets harder and harder to squeeze out as you use it, which is pretty inconvenient. I'd actually recommend mixing it with water in a flat container from the start and using it little by little instead.
