I loved that I could grab it affordably at Daiso, and the compact size made it perfect for taking along on trips. I found myself reaching for it constantly when traveling. Because the cleansing power is so strong, using it frequently can compromise your skin barrier. It does a great job controlling oil, which isn't ideal if you have dry skin. I wash my face in the morning, but by lunchtime my skin is already incredibly oily. This product does an amazing job of controlling that excess oil and keeping my complexion matte throughout the day. I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation either. Even though it says it might not be ideal for my skin type, I'm sticking with it because the results speak for themselves. Getting the right ratio of water to foam is tricky. This foam cleanser is super reliable and does an amazing job removing dirt and impurities. If you're unsure what to pick, honestly just go with this one. It's a shame it's made in Japan because the cleansing power is actually really impressive, haha. That said, if you're wearing sunscreen or makeup, do a two-step cleanse: use a cleansing water first, then follow up with the foam cleanser. I've been using this consistently since middle school all the way through high school, and I absolutely love it. If you have oily skin, this is definitely the product for you. That said, it does feel a bit drying after use, so I'd recommend skipping this if you have dry skin. Senka Perfect Whip Fresh has such a smooth and hydrating formula that it feels incredibly gentle on your skin when cleansing. The cleansing power is definitely one of this product's strongest points. Plus, the price is so reasonable that you won't feel guilty using it regularly without breaking the bank. That said, it didn't work well with my skin, which was disappointing. After using it, my skin felt irritated, turned red, and I experienced breakouts. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, be aware that this formula may contain ingredients that are too strong for you. Since skin reactions can vary so much depending on your skin type, I'd really recommend doing a patch test with a small amount first before committing to regular use. To minimize skin irritation, I'd suggest using a foaming net to create a rich, luxurious lather before cleansing. This approach reduces friction from rubbing directly with your hands and is gentler on your skin while still getting you squeaky clean. After cleansing, it's also really important to follow up with plenty of hydration so your skin doesn't feel tight and dry. I have oily, sensitive skin that's prone to breakouts, but this cleanser works great for me and I keep using it. It lathers really well! The cleansing power seems good, but honestly I haven't noticed any real downsides to it.
