It's like every nut in the world was collected and left to rot for a century. The smell is absolutely unbearable. I could barely use it three times before I had to throw it away. The pure shea butter definitely delivers on hydration. I scoop out a small amount, let it melt gently in my hands, and apply it smoothly. It's a bit heavy, so I only use it during winter. I've gone through two jars now. One worked wonderfully for me, but the other one caused some irritation, so I stopped using that one. I also use it on drier areas like my heels and elbows. This time, I decided to try this product for the first time, and I'm really impressed. First of all, the texture is so much smoother and easier to apply compared to what we used before. It melts beautifully and feels incredibly soft on the skin. Plus, it comes with a spatula, which makes it so much more hygienic to use. I'm really happy with this choice. It has a natural scent that some people might not love, so it could be hit or miss depending on your preferences. I use it as a lip balm on my lips, and for areas prone to flaking like elbows, ankles, and heels—this works wonders on all of them. After doing a sheet mask, I apply a thin layer of this before bed, and my skin looks noticeably better the next morning. Just be careful not to overdo it, as too much can cause congestion. The staying power is absolutely incredible. I apply it before bed at night, and when I wake up in the morning and touch my face, it still feels incredibly smooth. If you have oily or combination skin, you might notice a greasy feeling when you use this. Also, there's a distinctive shea butter scent that some people might find strong. For best results, apply it before bed after cleansing, or mix it with your regular makeup products when you're heading out during the day.

The "100% organic shea butter" claim combined with that luxuriously moisturizing feel totally got me. The price is super reasonable too, and you get a generous amount. I mean, it's pure shea butter through and through! I'd recommend mixing it with your emulsion, cream, or facial oil before applying. There's definitely a noticeable scent to it, haha. It has that distinctive smell of aged nut oils, kind of nutty and a bit stale? If you're sensitive to fragrance, definitely test it out first before committing. Honestly, products like this aren't really necessary during the peak of summer, haha. During the warm months, make sure to seal it up tight and store it somewhere cool. Then when fall rolls around, take it back out, scoop off a thin layer from the top, and it'll feel like a brand new product again. I'm really happy with this and using it regularly. When my lips feel dry and tight, I apply it before bed and it works like a charm. The solid texture makes it a bit tricky to apply. I didn't have high expectations at first, just hoping that a 100% formula wouldn't cause any irritation. But after trying it, I'm absolutely thrilled! I've already recommended it to friends and family multiple times and given it as gifts. My skin tends to break out immediately when I use products that are too oily, but this moisturizing cream is different. Even when I layer it on top of other products, I don't experience any irritation at all. Plus, it doesn't feel heavy on my skin. The biggest downside is that there's no physical store nearby. When there was one at the Pangyo Hyundai location, they used to offer gift wrapping and such great service. I bought several small cream containers from the dollar store and divided the product among them. I keep one in my bag, one in my pocket, one in my car, and one on my vanity. I use it everywhere I need it—as a hand cream, on my lips, and anywhere else that feels dry.
