Don't think of this as just your typical lip balm based on the name alone! The size is actually quite generous, about one and a half thumb widths in circumference, which I really appreciated. *Application and absorption This is a product you apply with a spatula. When you spread it on, it melts slightly from your lip warmth, and as you massage it in, it glides smoothly onto your lips with a nice coating feel. It doesn't completely absorb, which is actually perfect. *Moisture retention I'm someone who's tried countless lip care products, and I have to say this one truly delivers on hydration. My lips stayed so moisturized that I didn't experience any flaking at all, which was amazing. With other products, I'd always end up picking at dry patches after application or once the product wore off, but that never happened with this one.
The packaging is a bit inconvenient. It comes in a paper-like tube where you push from the bottom to dispense the product, but to retract it, you have to use the spatula or your finger to push it back in. It's not a twist mechanism, so this design flaw actually bothered me enough to take off a star.
Make sure to use the spatula for application.
