I have sensitive, oily skin and was searching for a gentle product when I discovered this one. I was impressed by the ingredients and ended up repurchasing it. It's totally solid. I really appreciate that this foundation doesn't have stearic acid, which is a great start. When you apply it properly, the coverage and skin-like finish are noticeably better than your typical cushion compact. The ingredient list overall seems really well thought out. Even without stearic acid, after I use it, I tend to skip makeup on most days anyway, so I'm not sure if that's why, but I noticed some tiny bumps appearing the next day. Because of that, I only wear it when I need to take photos or have somewhere special to go. I like to use a damp sponge to apply it! I decided to give it a try based on the hype, and I'm really pleased! The shade is so natural-looking and it applies beautifully. It works wonderfully with my skin, and honestly, I haven't found any downsides to it yet.

It's not drying, but it doesn't apply with a dewy finish either. I'd say it works best when you prep your skin really well, so I'd recommend it for dry skin types. If you have oily skin, you might find yourself needing to touch up your makeup throughout the day. Personally, I'm the type who never needed touch-ups when I used VDL foundation, but with this one, I find myself doing a quick refresh once or twice. Other than the slight breakdown as time goes on, I'm really happy with it. My only wish is that the coverage was stronger. This is a liquid foundation formula that pairs really well with a thicker, more matte concealer. Other than wishing the coverage was better, I honestly can't think of any other complaints. First of all, the ingredient formula is seriously impressive - honestly better than any other foundation I've tried. The application is smooth and easy too! Since I have sensitive skin, I noticed some small bumps forming when I used it. The application is smooth and effortless, the value for money is excellent, and the ingredients are top-notch. I definitely recommend it. I'm planning to repurchase. I already have a product I usually use, so this was my first time trying it. It's just okay, nothing special.
