I don't experience any stinging or irritation around my eyes. That said, applying this product does require a bit of technique on my part. Since I don't usually wear mascara anyway, it took me a moment to get the hang of it. You do need to be careful to avoid getting it on your mucous membranes. There's a slight foreign feeling sometimes, which can be a bit uncomfortable.
