This formula feels amazing because it's either thickener-free or has minimal thickeners. I've been using this without experiencing sensitivity issues. I didn't read the instructions at first and applied the vitamin powder mix on its own, and it wasn't particularly irritating. I'm getting some breakouts, so I stopped using it. Once my skin settles down, I'll give it another try. 5/18 Oh no, I can't believe I bought the 30% concentration without doing my research! The niacinamide I was using before from Witch's Factory was only 4%, and even that was irritating enough that I stopped using it. And now I have this 30%... so I'm not using it at all right now. I'm trying to figure out where to use it, but since it's supposed to help with brightening, I'm thinking maybe I'll save it for winter. The white powder residue from the niacinamide is noticeable after application, which makes the container look dirty. I was tempted by a YouTube video saying it's great to add a niacinamide ampoule when applying my base routine, so I decided to try it. I've bought so many products over the years and barely used them before tossing them out, but thankfully I keep coming back to this ampoule. I originally got it to tackle uneven skin tone, and I've actually noticed it helps control excess oil on my combination skin. I'd need to use it longer to really see results on uneven skin tone. Now that I think about it, pretty much every ampoule and cream on the market these days has niacinamide in it, and quite a few have pretty decent concentrations too. If you're constantly switching up your base products and already using multiple ampoules and creams, it might be worth reconsidering whether you really need to buy this separately. After applying my toner, I mixed just 3-4 drops into my essence or moisturizer, and I was thrilled to experience zero irritation or breakouts. Here's my honest take after finishing the entire bottle. I was really excited about the results since the formula is packed with active ingredients, but I have to say I didn't notice any real difference in my skin tone or pore appearance. It took me about 2 months to get through the whole bottle.
