I deal with pore concerns, oily skin, and some sensitivity, but nothing severe. If you've been thinking about trying retinol or spicule products and have used them before, this is definitely worth recommending. The retinol serum has that typical sticky texture, but the spicule component at around 100 isn't overly irritating at all. As long as your skin barrier isn't severely compromised and you're not extremely sensitive, even first-time users shouldn't find it overwhelming. You'll probably use this as part of your nighttime routine, and if the stickiness or slight tingling feels uncomfortable, just apply a thin layer of cream on top. While it's true that pores can't really be permanently fixed with skincare alone, retinol definitely makes them appear less noticeable visually, so I keep using it consistently. With the spicule and retinol combination, I'm seeing faster improvement. After using it in my nighttime routine for over a month, my pores genuinely look cleaner and more refined. It's not the most refreshing finish for oily skin, but I'm willing to overlook that since it's a functional treatment product. The texture improvement is definitely noticeable, so I'd recommend it! I didn't experience any breakouts, but if your skin is in a particularly sensitive state, skip using this product. Wait until your skin is calmed and your barrier is restored before introducing it.
