It definitely feels soothing when you apply it to breakouts and blemishes. When I apply it at night after cleansing and go to bed, it leaves white residue on my pillow.

Unlike menthol-based products, this doesn't feel overly cooling or irritating—it's just straightforward and reliable! Like most products in this category, there are some common drawbacks: It does transfer onto your pillowcase (though it washes out pretty easily). I could really feel the cooling effect helping to calm my skin. While it didn't work for every type of breakout, this product did a great job soothing those angry, inflamed spots. Because of how this product works, I found it messy to use at night since the powder tends to get on everything, and you can't really wear it during the day when you're out and about. When you apply it, you immediately feel a refreshing coolness. After a bit of time passes, the product hardens into a firm layer. When I use it on my acne spots, it really speeds up the healing process. Normally, a blemish takes about 5 days to come to a head, but with this product, it matures in just 3 days minimum. The acne comes to a head on its own and disappears much faster. Even the slightest shake causes it to separate, so you have to set it down and use it carefully. After applying it, if you try to go about your day, white powder flakes off everywhere, which is really awkward when you're eating. Even if you stay home all day, you really should only apply it before bed. Don't mix it!
