During summer, this cream works beautifully on its own, and in winter I love mixing it with camellia oil to tackle that stubborn inner dryness while keeping my skin feeling hydrated and plump. It feels so hydrating and I love it! When I mix it with camellia oil, the moisturizing effect is seriously doubled. I can detect an artificial fragrance, which is a bit off-putting. I think I'd use this much more often if it were unscented.

The brand promoted using it together with the included oil, so I gave that a try, but honestly? Not much difference. For context, I have really dry skin. These days, I apply a mask at night, let the essence absorb, then use just a tiny bit of this in my palm as a moisturizer. I warm it up between my hands and let it sink in completely, and that's when I finally feel that "wow" moment! The key is really using the warmth of your palms to help it absorb fully. I have really dry, sensitive skin that needs plenty of moisture, and I'm absolutely loving this product. No breakouts, it's gentle, and it works beautifully for me. I'm in my 30s with dry skin that becomes extremely parched during winter. When the cold season hits, my complexion gets tight and flaky, and I find that lightweight hydrating creams just don't stay put while richer creams sit on the surface without absorbing. A friend suggested mixing a nourishing cream with oil, so I decided to try pairing this with a camellia oil from the same line. The cream itself has a rich texture that can feel a bit heavy on its own, but when I use it together with the oil, it works beautifully! On its own, it tends to feel a bit heavy on the skin, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer fragrance-free products.
