After cleansing, the skin feels incredibly smooth and soft with a wonderful moisturized texture. I have genuine trust and affection for the Skinfood brand overall. Their other masks work really well for me, so I'm satisfied with the brand in general. The brightening effect is temporary and only noticeable right after removing the mask. The formula is too slippery and doesn't rinse off cleanly during cleansing. The exfoliating particles in the formula don't seem to do much for removing dead skin cells. Because of how the formula sits on skin, there's an uncomfortable residue left behind after washing. If you're thinking about getting this or already have it, and you're also dealing with keratosis pilaris, I seriously recommend trying this hack. This product is so gentle that I think it would work wonderfully for sensitive skin. It has fine particles in it that really seem to smooth out your skin texture, and right after using it, I looked in the mirror and my complexion looked so much brighter and more radiant! I'm definitely going to repurchase this and highly recommend it. The formula isn't creamy enough, so it was a bit tricky to spread it evenly across my skin. It does apply okay overall, but getting it to look polished and even was challenging. Try applying it with a silicone brush for best results.
