I usually get bored with lip products easily and end up stashing them away after a few uses, but I have to say this is the first lip product I've actually used consistently and gone through so much of. This product has so many amazing qualities! Container: The cap on this lipstick stays secure and doesn't loosen up like so many others do with regular use. But it's not stiff either - it opens smoothly and effortlessly. Plus, the matte finish case gives it such a premium, distinctive feel. No Patchy Application: Matte lip products usually settle into fine lines and look patchy, but this one doesn't do that at all! It's honestly impressive. I apply my lipstick vertically, and even with that technique, most matte lipsticks tend to look uneven. But this one applies so smoothly and evenly with a beautiful, soft-focus finish. I'd feel a bit disappointed buying this at full price, so I'd recommend waiting for a sale to grab it. Since this has a matte finish, I suggest prepping your lips with a lip balm to gently remove any dry patches before application. I received this as a gift and I have to say, the application is really smooth and easy to work with. The packaging design is simple and practical too. The color threw me off - when I first applied it, I thought it was coral, but as I blended it, it shifted to more of a pink tone. I was surprised it has such warm undertones. Plus, it's much more matte than I expected. I picked this up through a negotiation event, and it was such a highly anticipated product for me! I thought it would be a warm coral, but it turned out to be more of a pink-coral shade, and honestly, it's absolutely gorgeous. I applied the 3CE base all over and then blended it on the inner corner for a gradient effect, and the result is just stunning. I'm planning to wear it like this for a while! I can't really think of any major drawbacks. The application is incredibly smooth and feels so lightweight. My lips don't feel suffocated, and while it has that matte finish I wanted, it's not leaving my lips feeling parched. Honestly though, I just haven't reached for it much since I got it - it's not really calling my name. The name is "Carrot" coral, right? So I was expecting something with a bit more orange undertone to it, but it's actually a pink coral. When I wear it, something about it just makes my lips look a bit off - not quite the vibe I was going for.
