I believe the founder developed this personally because they have atopic skin, and I've seen that reflected in the formula. My whole family has tried it without any irritation, and the ingredients seem really solid! It's so convenient to carry around that I can keep my face and fingertips deeply moisturized throughout the harsh winter months. I loved it so much after the first one that I bought another. Even those with extremely dry or sensitive skin can use this without any issues. The scent is a bit unusual and unfamiliar, honestly. You get used to it after using it for a while, but it's definitely noticeable at first. Also, it runs out faster than expected, which is a bit disappointing. I was curious about it being organic, so I decided to give it a try, and honestly? I think I'm going to stick with this one from now on. Here's why: 1. It's amazing at calming irritation and redness I'm honestly scared of autumn. When fall comes around, my skin gets so tight and dry that it turns red and starts peeling. It's not just my face either—it starts creeping up from my ankles, gets itchy, and when I scratch it, it hurts. So I tried applying this there, and wow, it feels so hydrated and wonderful. It even feels like it's putting those flaky patches back together. And it really does calm down the redness on my face too. 2. The application is incredibly smooth Honestly, I don't think anyone could argue with this one. It glides on with just the right amount of shine, and when you gently massage it into your face, it feels like moisture is being absorbed deep into your skin. After it sinks in, regular emulsions usually leave your face feeling super tight afterward, but this one doesn't do that at all. Plus, I'm not getting those tiny bumps anymore, which is amazing. 3. The scent I'll admit this could be hit or miss for some people, but when I first opened the lid, the aroma-like fragrance smelled so good. When you apply it, it has a slightly herbal quality, and it's more subtle than the scent from Sulwhasoo, but it feels more natural somehow (I'm running out of words to describe it). I purchased this with my own money because it's organic, so I didn't have to worry about the ingredients. When I first applied it, it felt a bit thick, but after a few minutes, I couldn't even feel it anymore. If I apply it generously in the evening and sleep, I wake up with beautifully hydrated skin. Since my body tends to be dry, I also applied it to problem areas and my elbows and heels, and they definitely became smoother. I'll need to wear short sleeves and sandals in summer, and I think this will be great for maintaining my skin! I'm using it very well. If I apply too much around my eyes, I do get a bit of eye discharge, but other than that, there's nothing else to complain about. If you have oily skin, I'd recommend applying it thinly. I do my basic skincare routine first, then apply a hydrating cream, and carefully apply it around the eyes, a bit away from the lips, and on the forehead. Since I have atopic skin that gets dry easily, I applied this generously to those problem areas! It's especially a must-have during winter months. Plus, it's genuinely gentle and never caused any irritation for me! The stick format made it tricky to apply to curved areas, to be honest. If you could reformulate it with a more moisturizing, emulsion-like texture, I'd definitely make it a permanent part of my routine! It works beautifully as a lip balm too, so it's really versatile!
