I usually use a regular setting spray, but since my skin tends to get oily, I decided to try the matte formula and I'm really happy with it! I appreciate that it comes in different sizes, which makes it convenient to carry around. I sprayed this and used a page prep sunscreen, and I traveled to a really hot and humid country - it was absolutely amazing! My scalp gets super oily normally, but this completely controlled it and lasted all day long without drying me out! The difference between using it and not using it is huge. Honestly, it's a total game-changer for my daily routine! It's a bit pricey, I won't lie. I received it as a gift, so I didn't pay for it myself... but aside from the price, I'm completely satisfied with everything else! I have incredibly oily skin and tend to sweat a lot, especially around my nose and upper lip area. Without a setting spray, powder alone just doesn't cut it—my foundation starts breaking down and getting patchy within minutes! But once I started using this setting spray, the breakdown basically stopped. As a high school student, I'm constantly on the go between classes, playing sports, and attending hagwons, so I spend most of my day outside. Even during summer when I'm sweating heavily, when I get home and look in the mirror, my skin looks surprisingly fresh and polished! I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for something that keeps your makeup locked in place all day. The staying power is really impressive, but I was hoping it would also control oil since that's what it claims to do. Honestly, it doesn't really mattify or absorb excess shine the way I expected. If you have oily skin and are mainly looking for oil control, I wouldn't recommend this one. For best results with this setting spray, apply it once after you finish your base makeup to lock in your primer and foundation. Then spray some onto a makeup sponge and gently press it onto your skin before applying your color cosmetics. Finish with one more light mist before you add your blush, bronzer, or other face products. This fine mist spray is absolutely perfect! It applies beautifully on the face and sets your makeup wonderfully! I can't really complain, but the only thing is that the amount is a bit small - though honestly, that's both a downside and an upside!

The mist spray is so fine that you barely notice it going on, but it applies evenly. I really appreciate how it keeps my makeup in place better throughout the day. I can definitely feel the difference when I use this versus when I don't! My makeup lasts so much longer, and honestly, I always stock up whenever there's a sale because it's such a reliable product! To be honest, the difference between the original and the matte versions is pretty minimal. There's an original version, but I was curious about the matte type so I tried it. It doesn't give that completely powdery, velvety finish I was hoping for, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the staying power is actually pretty solid. I've found that spraying it once after applying my cushion or foundation, letting it dry, setting it with powder, and then applying the fixer one more time really boosts my base's longevity. I use this method regularly now because it makes such a difference. I've tried both the matte and all-day versions, and the matte one definitely lives up to its name. When I spray it after doing my makeup, it gives that perfect powdery, fresh finish. Since I have really oily skin, this product is absolutely essential during the summer months. Out of all the setting sprays I've used so far, this one is hands down the best. I wish the matte version came in a larger size like the all-day formula does.
