I was expecting a subtle luminous glow from this highlighter balm, but when I applied it, the glitter effect is actually quite strong. The silver and pink pearl shades are absolutely stunning and sparkly. Under flash photography, it's genuinely gorgeous. Also, the formula is more like a compact cream or butter compared to the original balm texture. When I apply it with my fingers, the pearl particles stick directly to my skin and are really hard to remove, which is frustrating. But that also means the staying power is excellent! Using a puff applicator works best for me in every way. With its shimmery, glamorous glitter finish, this highlighter is perfect for bold, dramatic makeup looks. I think the price point is reasonable for occasional special occasion makeup applications.
