It's much more flattering on cool undertones than warm undertones, and it really shines beautifully on people with fair or medium skin tones. The formula has a creamy texture and adheres well, so the application is smooth enough, but when your lips aren't perfectly smooth, flaking appears right away. On dry days, the product tends to sit unevenly on the surface or clump together, so I found that exfoliating beforehand and using a lip balm base were absolutely essential steps.

The color payoff was fantastic, and while the staying power is decent, I'd recommend this to everyone regardless of skin type When I applied it over my matte cushion foundation, it kept flaking off, felt sticky and tacky, and I noticed small breakouts starting to appear If you use a puff to blend it out, you'll get a much more natural finish

It's fantastic for creating that juicy berry makeup look that's so popular right now. If you're specifically looking for a cool-toned shade, you might be caught off guard since this one has some warmth to it. I actually loved this quality, but if you're set on a purely cool tone, you could end up disappointed. Don't apply too much or your base might start to peel away—use a light dabbing motion instead. Your skin will look absolutely radiant. I'd recommend saving this for winter or cooler seasons rather than summer, since it has a slightly dewy finish that can read as a bit too warm and shiny during hot weather.
