This serum has a beautifully hydrating and nourishing texture that glides on effortlessly. I was able to simplify my skincare routine by skipping some steps and using this serum alone, and my skin never felt tight or parched. For my skin type, it feels a bit too rich and heavy. Since my skin has been on the drier side lately, I've been using an essence followed by a light layer of cream and then this product, but the richness seems to interfere with how well my base makeup adheres. When I applied it to my neck, I noticed a sticky residue that felt uncomfortable. I accidentally applied another brand's sunscreen before heading to work, and my eyes felt irritated, so I had to cleanse everything off. Since eye irritation is my number one criterion when choosing a sunscreen, I'm really impressed that this one doesn't cause any stinging. My hands keep reaching for it! The texture is so lightweight and pleasant to apply. I usually can't stand that heavy, thick feeling of sunscreen sitting on my face like a mask, but this sun serum is so much lighter than traditional sunscreens! When it's hot and humid, everything tends to melt off my skin, my face gets oily, and breakouts happen everywhere. Honestly, I usually can't wear sunscreen during peak summer because of this, but this one is so lightweight that I've been using it all month long. I'm confident I'll keep using it through the rest of the summer! The coverage is excellent and it applies so smoothly without feeling heavy. It's perfect for summer use! So hydrating and moisturizing! I have acne-prone dry skin, but this product is incredibly hydrating and gentle without any irritation. I really love it! I don't have any major complaints, but if I had to pick something, it would be the price point. I thought this essence serum would just feel like a regular hydrating toner, but I was pleasantly surprised! The texture is genuinely serum-like with incredible moisture and hydration that keeps my skin looking dewy and radiant all day long. I literally walked around with that gorgeous, luminous glow the entire day. For the dry season, I think this would be absolutely perfect without any dryness concerns. Highly recommend for dry and very dry skin types! Not ideal for oily skin. If you have combination skin, I'd suggest saturating your skin with hydrating essentials first, then layering this on top as a protective seal. I experienced irritation immediately upon application. The stinging and itching sensation caught me completely off guard. I've never had a sunscreen react this way on my skin before. I thought it would settle down after a bit, but the itching and irritation persisted for over half the day. While this kind of reaction can happen with overly rich oils or face oils, the discomfort was intense enough that it was difficult to keep my eyes open comfortably throughout the day. The product kept migrating toward my eye area, which was uncomfortable. This isn't necessarily a flaw, but I'd recommend being very careful to avoid the eye contour area when applying. If you have sensitive skin, skip this one!

Even though my skin tends to be dry underneath, using it in my routine really helped reduce that tight, parched feeling. Here's my routine: toner pad, toner, hydrating ampoule, vitamin A serum, sun serum, then moisturizer. I can't find it anywhere, but I even got my boyfriend to try it because it's not sticky at all and has such a subtle scent. He's really happy with it too! I personally love applying it before my moisturizer.
