An affordable essence from a department store that doesn't break the bank. The bottle itself is so elegant and sophisticated that it really elevates your vanity and makes your beauty space look more luxurious. If fermented skincare products don't work for your skin, I'd honestly skip this one. I personally discovered through this essence and other fermented products that my skin just doesn't respond well to fermentation. There's no noticeable difference in results, and it doesn't provide hydration either. This essence really seems to be a hit-or-miss product depending on your skin type. I ended up not even finishing the bottle. The application is incredibly smooth and it's not overly watery, which makes it so easy to work with. The absorption is fantastic - I'm honestly impressed! I keep using it consistently because it really delivers. I can't really think of any downsides to mention. This is honestly my favorite essence I've ever tried. I'd definitely recommend picking it up at duty-free if you get the chance! I've been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis for over 7 years now. There were times when it was really severe. After trying so many different products and testing them on my skin, checking ingredients and all that, I naturally filtered out what didn't work for me. When my skin inflammation improved by about 90 percent, I was frustrated that it wasn't completely gone, so I started searching again. That's when I remembered Soom's Secret Essence, which I hadn't thought about in ages. I had used one bottle before my dermatitis started, and I remembered it being so gentle on my skin with an amazing feel. There's only one ingredient that concerns me: niacinamide. Products with this ingredient tend to irritate my skin. Usually, niacinamide appears early in the ingredient list, before 1,2-hexanediol, which typically means it makes up at least 3 percent of the formula. But in Soom's version, niacinamide comes after 1,2-hexanediol, and there are tons of plant extracts listed after it, so the concentration is probably less than 1 percent. I thought my skin could handle that amount. And honestly, my skin felt exactly as comfortable as I hoped. My inner dryness cleared up, flaking stopped, and my dermatitis improved. Since my skin isn't normally resilient, even one application usually feels irritating, but this product's barrier-strengthening effect was seriously impressive. Within just a few days, my skin inflammation jumped from 90 percent improved to 97 percent. Then I found another great cream product and reached 100 percent healing! My skin is completely normal now. I'm not sure if it's permanently cured, but with this routine, my skin feels calm and healthy, so I plan to keep using it this way for a while. I highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin or a compromised skin barrier. Not really anything. The price isn't cheap, but honestly, since this product saved my skin, I don't mind at all. I don't squeeze the bottle directly onto my skin. Instead, I hold the container upside down near my cheeks and gently tap the bottom of the essence bottle so one drop comes out at a time. I apply 2 drops to each cheek and 2 drops to my forehead, then spread it across my face. Even the best products can backfire if you use too much. This product is so gentle and non-irritating, and I can really see my skin improving over time. It's definitely become one of my go-to favorites that I keep coming back to again and again. The only thing I'd mention is that it's a bit thin in texture, so it can be tricky to apply. Unlike other fermented skincare products, this one doesn't have that typical fermented smell and instead has a fresh, clean scent that I really love. The formula is a bit richer than a typical toner, so when you apply it, your skin feels hydrated and moisturized without any tightness or dryness. The fresh scent might not be for everyone - it's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it kind of fragrance. I wish the scent were a bit more subtle.

My skin feels so calm and comfortable, and I can really see the difference in my skin texture improving. Other than the price, there's really nothing to complain about. I always stock up whenever they offer the larger sizes.
