For oily skin, I was pleasantly surprised that the finish isn't as sticky as I expected. Even though my skin is sensitive, I didn't experience any irritation or adverse reactions. I've been using this for about 4 months now, and honestly, the first 3 days showed such visible results—blackheads and pores looked noticeably smaller. But the longer I use it, the less effective it seems to be. That said, even though my skin is combination, it absorbs beautifully and it's definitely a solid everyday product to apply. My skin is extremely sensitive and dehydrated, with excess oil production, lots of blackheads and whiteheads, easily gets flushed, and breaks out on my chin whenever a product doesn't work for me. When I used products with these ingredients multiple times, they didn't agree with my skin: glyceryl acrylate, epigallocatechin gallate, C13-16 isoparaffin, C12-14 isoparaffin, caprylic methicone, dimethicone, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, acrylate, limonene, linalool, hydrogenated polydecene. Ingredients that work well for me: houttuynia cordata, tea tree, plant extracts, and hyaluronic acid. I haven't noticed cica helping much with calming my skin. Ingredients I'm currently avoiding: PEG-10 and 20, decyl glucoside, sodium cocoyl isethionate, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, potassium cocoyl glycinate, alcohols, limonene, linalool, citric acid. I'm not sure if my pores have actually improved, to be honest. But it's great for the price - I can use it generously without worrying! Even though tomato is in the name, the tomato extract is listed pretty far down on the ingredient list, so I think of this more as a regular serum with a slightly richer texture rather than a pore-targeting serum. The ingredients are solid and it's mostly plant extract-based, so it's been totally fine for my skin. It's lightweight enough for summer, so I'd recommend it for warmer months. I don't have any complaints. Actually, I'm really happy to have found a serum at this price point from the drugstore that doesn't cause breakouts! During the summer when my pores were getting larger and my skin was producing excess oil, I applied this product and it felt so gentle on my skin. The formula is really effective, and since it doesn't leave a sticky residue, I'm definitely planning to repurchase. I found it works best during summer rather than during seasonal transitions. I purchased this through the funding campaign and have been using it. I've definitely noticed my pores look a bit smaller, and the texture feels like a lightweight essence, so I've been applying it before my cream. Since it's a serum, the absorption isn't quite as fast as I'd hoped, and it does feel a bit like it's sitting on the surface of my skin. (Results may vary by individual)
