I have oily, sensitive skin with blackheads on my nose that really stress me out, and I've been using the Olive Young pore-refining treatment to help cleanse my pores. It has a similar scent to the seaweed exfoliants I used to get at the dermatologist, and it seems to work in a similar way too. There's a slight tingling sensation when I apply it, which actually helps support skin renewal. I use it about once or twice a week along with a pore-minimizing treatment, and I can definitely see my pores getting cleaner. The only thing is, I make sure to follow up with plenty of hydration afterward! It's not quite as strong as the professional seaweed exfoliants from my dermatologist, but there is some tingling when you apply it. Because of that, people with sensitive skin might experience a bit more breakouts. I bought this mask after hearing about it from Hong Hyun-hee and seeing the ads. It has a slight tingling sensation, and I feel like my pores look a bit smaller. The amount is generous, and it spreads really well on the skin. It claims to contain 50 million micro herbal needles that are 0.01mm in size—14 times smaller than pores—to penetrate deep into pore roots. But as someone with stubborn pores, while it does tingle a bit when applied, it feels like I'm only getting about 1,000 micro herbal needles worth of effect. The instructions say to press it into your skin once it dries, but it doesn't actually dry.
