This BB cream has the best coverage among all the options I've tried! When I was pregnant, my skin went through major changes, so I switched from foundation to BB cream and tested so many products. Among the ones with decent ingredients, nothing compares to this one! The coverage is fantastic and it's not irritating at all, so my skin feels so much less stressed. It does apply a bit thick and the adhesion isn't the strongest. I wish it had sunscreen built in, but since I apply sunscreen separately anyway, it's not a big deal. If you apply it in thin layers multiple times, you'll get amazing coverage. I was dealing with so much acne that I really needed to wear makeup, but I was worried that applying cushion foundation daily would make things worse. That's why I decided to try this pore-friendly product. During the first week, it did feel a bit oily after application, but it wasn't matte, which actually made me feel like my pores weren't getting clogged. While I wasn't thrilled with how it looked on my skin, I was really happy with how my skin felt and looked healthier overall. It seemed to get smoother and more refined. Starting from the second week, things got worse. My already sensitive skin kept getting redder, and I started breaking out with painful acne bumps on my cheeks. I think anyone with really sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin might experience the same issue as me. The formula itself is great, but I can't really recommend it to people with sensitive skin like mine. Personally, I usually wear shade 19, so wearing it alone was too dark for me. I was looking into regenerating BB creams because I heard they're gentler on skin, but they were so expensive. While searching for alternatives, I came across Swanee Coco BB in the related searches and decided to give it a try. It has a slight ashy tone, but it's not a reddish ash, so it actually covers my redness really well. The application is incredibly smooth, and even when I patted it on with a damp puff, it didn't look cakey. Best of all, my skin felt so comfortable, like I wasn't wearing anything at all. Since nothing got worse and no new blemishes appeared, I'm definitely planning to repurchase this! If you have sensitive skin with dermatitis, acne, or folliculitis and still need to wear makeup, I'd recommend giving this a try! Just keep in mind that the coverage isn't super heavy. The fragrance smells like car air freshener, honestly. I really wish they'd skip the fragrance altogether. Since I'm sensitive to scents, this was a real turnoff for me. The product itself is good enough that I can overlook it and still use it. The scent does fade pretty quickly, which helps, but still... I'm not a fan. It makes me feel a bit queasy. When you apply it thinly, your skin texture looks absolutely gorgeous and flawless. If you just use a light layer and add just a tiny bit of concealer for coverage, it looks effortless and natural.
