I really loved that this gel-type formula feels lightweight and doesn't weigh down my skin. Even though I have sensitive skin, I'm happy to say I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. I do struggle with dehydration underneath the surface, and unfortunately this product didn't address that concern. Before the reformulation, it was more hydrating and moisturizing, but it triggered breakouts for me. This new version is lighter and doesn't cause any irritation, which is great. That said, I do notice a bit of an oily feel to it. It seems like Sulwhasoo is intentionally targeting a younger demographic with their toner line. I used to be loyal to Hera and Amorepacific foundations, but a few years ago they started adding niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, which didn't work for my skin, so I kept switching products.
