Since this cleanser has exfoliating beads inside, I could feel it gently buffing away dead skin at the same time—it's like getting a dual cleanse and gentle exfoliation in one! If you have sensitive skin, you might want to be a bit cautious since the exfoliating beads could potentially cause some irritation. This is honestly the most convenient mask out there because you can use it while showering. Compared to other Sulwhasoo masks, I can't really tell much of a difference with this one... but it's not bad or anything. I got a sample, tried it, and loved it so much that I bought it at a duty-free shop for a great price. The texture is perfectly thick yet creamy, and it adheres beautifully to the skin. The fine ginseng particles gently dissolve away dead skin cells, making it absolutely wonderful to use during my shower routine. There's definitely a noticeable difference when I use it versus when I don't. Before important events, I spend about 5 minutes using this during my shower the night before, and it really makes a difference. My skincare routine becomes super effective, my makeup applies so much smoother, and everything just looks flawless. It's pricey at full retail, but since one jar lasts me over 6 months, the value for money is actually pretty solid.

After using it, my skin feels incredibly smooth and soft - I'm definitely going to purchase the full-size version! Herbal medicine scent? Traditional remedy vibes? The smell is just part of what makes Sulwhasoo products special, so you have to accept it. Honestly, it's totally bearable once you get used to it!

There's a hint of ginseng in there, I think? Texture: It seems to be a gel-type formula. The golden color looks so luxurious and premium! How it feels: I was worried it might not work for my really dry and sensitive skin, but thankfully it's super gentle and doesn't irritate at all! I applied the white ginseng mask after cleansing, showered, and then rinsed it off. Right after rinsing, wow, my skin texture instantly became so smooth, hydrated, and fresh! I never realized an exfoliating product could leave skin feeling this moisturized. Before using this, I honestly didn't get that hydrated feeling after exfoliating other products. I think I just wasn't buying the right ones before! But this one is so non-irritating that I've been using it with complete peace of mind. The price is the main issue. I was pleasantly surprised by this product! When I first squeezed it out, I noticed the grainy texture and thought it was a scrub, but the instructions said to let it sit for about 5 minutes before rinsing. After leaving it on, I gently rolled it across my skin while washing, and it was amazing - no irritation or discomfort, just effective exfoliation with a hydrating feel afterward! Normally my skin feels tight right after cleansing if I don't apply toner immediately, but this time it stayed comfortable and moisturized. I'm really impressed! The fragrance is quite strong - even when I applied it to a small area, the scent was overpowering. Other than that, I really enjoyed it! It's a rinse-off mask that's super convenient - just apply it before your shower, wash your hair, and rinse it away. I love that it has exfoliating particles but doesn't feel harsh at all. After rinsing, my skin feels incredibly smooth and refined. Plus, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and dewy instead of tight and dry. At first I was applying it pretty thick, but I found that using a thinner layer works just as well and is actually easier to rinse off. My only wish is that the signature ginseng scent wasn't quite so strong - it's a bit overpowering for me.
