I received this as a gift and have been using it - the coverage is seriously impressive. I don't even need to use an extra concealer on top, which is amazing. The coverage stays put beautifully without any slipping, and it gives my skin tone a radiant, natural-looking finish. The price is quite steep for my budget. It's frustrating that shade 23 isn't available as a refill option on its own. When it comes to foundation, skincare essences, and creams, I always prioritize hydration above everything else.

Sulwhasoo recently revamped their Perfecting Cushion line, splitting it into the original Perfecting Cushion and the Perfecting Cushion Airy. I went with the Airy version in shade number 23N. The Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Airy is a luminous cushion that really shines with its natural coverage. If I had to describe the glow intensity, I'd say it gives off a medium-to-high level of radiance visually, but feels more like a medium glow when you actually wear it. That's why it's been perfect for me during winter like now. Even after several hours, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. As I mentioned, coverage is definitely not its strong suit. On a scale of zero to one hundred, I'd rate it around thirty. So if you're looking for heavy coverage, this isn't the one for you. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a dewy, natural-looking finish during the winter season. Since it has such a hydrating base, there is some darkening as the day goes on, but it's not dramatic. One more thing I want to mention is that you should really know whether a matte or luminous finish suits your skin better. With the Perfecting Cushion Airy, the light-reflecting effect is quite strong, so if a glowy complexion doesn't work for your look, it might feel a bit overwhelming. For some reason, after application, it always leaves a powdery, flour-like texture on the surface that's hard to ignore. If you're not careful with how you apply it, it tends to clump up and doesn't seem to blend smoothly into the skin the way you'd want it to. The best approach is to use just a tiny amount and gently tap it on with a light hand, building up the coverage gradually. When the airy version first came out, there weren't many reviews, so I was pretty worried. But I'm completely satisfied! It feels moisturizing, yet the finish has this matte quality to it. I'm not a fan of cushions with that glossy, shiny finish, but this airy one is absolutely perfect. I used to be loyal to Laneige, but now I'm loving this airy cushion. Highly recommend! The cushion is bigger than I expected. If you're not carrying a mini bag, it might be a bit bulky to toss in your regular purse. Fair warning: the shade runs about one tone lighter than you'd think, so you'll want to go up one shade from your usual match!
