My skin always looked patchy with other cushion foundations, but this one applies so smoothly without any streaking. I'm really happy with how flawless it looks! The coverage is excellent and it adheres beautifully to the skin, making my complexion look radiant. You'll want to apply it with a light hand for the best results. It has a lovely semi-matte finish. If you apply it too thickly, it feels heavy and suffocating on the skin, and you'll notice visible streaking and patchy marks. Just so you know, it's not a full matte finish.

Whenever I deal with textured or uneven skin, other cushions tend to look patchy and messy no matter what I use. But with Sulwhasoo, the coverage actually adheres beautifully even to my problem areas. Since then, I've stuck with Sulwhasoo cushion exclusively. What I love most is that it doesn't oxidize or darken throughout the day. Even though the color range isn't super extensive, the shades are absolutely gorgeous. Since I have combination skin, I notice the foundation starts to clump and separate in certain areas as time goes on. I make sure to apply it as thinly as possible.

The mirror case is such a nice touch that really sets it apart! I'm disappointed that there are five questionable ingredients in the formula. The coverage is moderate but delivers a natural, true-to-color finish. The staying power is solid and reliable. You don't get as many applications as you'd expect for the price, and the color payoff is a bit underwhelming. I purchased both the Airy 21N and Perfecting 21N and have been using them. There were lots of recommendations, and since people said the shade runs dark, I went with 21. Both have a bit of shine to them, and honestly, the difference between my neck and face isn't as noticeable as I expected. The Airy definitely feels more hydrating—my skin has a nice glow, and I'd say it's a touch less bright. Even when my makeup fades, it's not super obvious. The downside is that it does wear off a bit quickly. The Perfecting has better coverage and feels more matte, so when I apply a heavier hand, my skin tone gets noticeably brighter and the application can feel thick. I think Airy is perfect for winter and Perfecting is the way to go for summer. The color has a strong ashy undertone—this is the Sulwhasoo cushion, by the way. That's something I found a bit disappointing. You really need to apply it super thin. And if you want more coverage in certain areas, just layer it on gradually in those spots.

This version feels just a touch smoother, like the perfect refinement. My skin tends toward oiliness with some flaking around my breakouts, so I've actually stopped reaching for semi-matte finishes in the summer. ■Coverage If you have stubborn red blemishes or acne scars, this builds up to about 90% coverage. The best part? It never looks thick or cakey! ■Adherence The formula has this dense, bouncy texture that really clings to your skin beautifully and stays put all day. ■Oxidation The shade doesn't fade unnaturally or leave your complexion looking dull and gray. ■Cushion Design I had this preconceived notion that the Sulwhasoo brand felt outdated, but wow, this is so luxurious. The built-in puff is perfectly matched to the formula, and the cushion itself is slightly soft with just the right thickness. I'm really happy with how it feels. ■Shade Range I usually wear 21N, so if you want something brighter, go up one shade when you order. It's such a perfect match for me that I'm a tiny bit disappointed it doesn't have more range. The applicator puff is excellent. It adheres really well to the skin. This is perfect for everyday use. The coverage isn't as strong as I'd hoped. That said, everything else about it works well, so overall I'm satisfied. I love the applicator puff so much that I actually use it all the time when applying other foundations and concealers too.
