The essence amount is seriously generous! Even though the sheet material isn't super clingy, there's so much essence that you can use it to saturate your face and create a really snug fit. The essence formula feels lightweight, so I'm really happy with it! You can definitely feel how much your skin calms down while using the mask and especially afterward. I'm not sure why, but when I put it on my face, there's a slight tingling sensation. That said, it doesn't feel like my face is seriously irritated or anything like that. Since there's plenty of essence, load it generously onto the sheet and use it. This product is absolutely wonderful! It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and soothed. I love how it really quenches my skin's thirst for moisture. There's quite a lot of essence in this bottle! Skin Type My skin is combination that leans oily (with dry patches around problem areas and breakouts), acne-prone, and sensitive. Usage Period I used this from September 17, 2022 for approximately 5 days. (I received 7 sheet masks and used 2 masks daily for 2 days, then 1 mask daily for 5 days, totaling 5 days of use) Advantages 1. Sheet and essence formula The mask sheet was thin and soft, and the essence formula was a clear, watery, colorless liquid. 2. Calming function (breakout care) - Highly recommended As someone with oily yet sensitive skin, I frequently get small bumps and whiteheads below my forehead. I usually focus my skincare on calming products, but relying heavily on calming lines left my skin feeling dry and my makeup looking patchy. Recently, mask-wearing caused breakouts on my chin, so I was trying various products focused on hydration and breakout care. A friend recommended using 1-2 masks daily with calming ingredients, and I was lucky enough to win this product to try. On days 1 and 2, I applied the mask twice daily, morning and evening. From day 3 to 5, I used it only in the evening. By the morning of day 6, I noticed my skin looked noticeably clearer and more radiant. Combined with breakout treatment afterward, the synergy was amazing—the breakout marks on my chin significantly improved. Best of all, my makeup applied smoothly and stayed put after using the mask. My skin easily breaks out if products don't suit it, but this one caused no breakouts and delivered both hydration and calming benefits without major side effects. I was truly impressed. 3. Hydration This product definitely delivered the moisture my oily skin needed. My makeup stayed in place without shifting or looking patchy, and my skin looked dewy and luminous. I realized this is an exceptionally hydrating product. Comparison with Previous Products I previously used Mediheal Tea Tree Essential Sheet Mask regularly. That mask was incredibly effective when I struggled with breakouts. However, compared to Mediheal's Tea Tree Essential mask, this Tapomi Calming Tam sheet mask provides richer hydration and the mask stays moist longer. The Mediheal mask focuses more on calming. You could mix and match both depending on your skin type. For those wanting to address both hydration and breakout concerns simultaneously, I recommend the Tapomi Calming Tam sheet mask more. Final Thoughts Since using this product, I've been hooked on the daily mask routine and maintaining consistent care. As someone with breakout-prone skin, I hadn't prioritized hydration much, but this experience taught me that consistent moisture management with the right hydrating product is incredibly important for breakout-prone skin. I recommend this to combination skin types who want to address both hydration and breakout concerns in one step, and to those frustrated with makeup not adhering well. Drawback The product ingredients are all great, and I'd recommend it for my skin type. However, I felt the eye area of the mask sheet was slightly small for me. I wish the eye opening could be made a bit larger. My Skincare Routine 1. During skincare, I dampen a cotton pad with toner and gently prep my skin. 2. Then I apply the Tapomi Calming Tam sheet mask to my face and let it absorb for 10-15 minutes. (Since there's plenty of essence, I also applied the leftover essence to my neck.) 3. I remove the mask and let any remaining essence absorb into my skin. 4. Finally, I apply eye cream around the eye area and breakout treatment to problem areas. (This routine simply adds the sheet mask to my regular skincare. The eye cream I used is 'AHC Ten Revolution Real Eye Cream for Face' and the breakout treatment is 'Cica Sun Mess Cream.'
