For cleansing, I do a two-step process with oil first, then foam cleanser. The cleansing power is excellent. I wasn't expecting much from such a lightweight formula, but it removes makeup beautifully. I use a separate lip and eye remover for those areas, and the base makeup comes off really well. The texture is non-sticky and thin, so it spreads across my face smoothly. I can apply it gently without any pressure. The emulsification happens quickly, which means my eyes don't feel as cloudy or tight. I love how clear and lightweight the oil is. Even a small amount mixes rapidly with water and makeup, which is great for longevity and value for money. As someone with very dry skin, I would have preferred a more hydrating finish, but for most skin types, it shouldn't feel drying. The finish is smooth without stickiness or greasiness, and it doesn't strip away moisture, which I really appreciate. The ingredients are gentle and haven't caused any breakouts. I also love the rice-based concept because I'm hoping it might provide some brightening benefits. Now that fall is here, my complexion does seem a bit brighter, though it might just be my imagination. The scent is really not my thing. It's better than products with added fragrance, but it smells like soybean oil or canola oil, which I'm still not used to. The pump dispenser seems faulty because when I pump it, the product sprays out from the back as well as the nozzle, which is really inconvenient. I think this would be perfect for combination or dry skin types! I haven't experienced any breakouts since I started using it, and I'm pretty sure that's thanks to the non-comedogenic formula. The emulsification process is on the slower side, so I was a bit surprised when I first used it. You have to gradually add water bit by bit and massage gently to see the emulsification happen, which can feel a little tedious. During summer, it does have a slightly oily feel that might feel heavy for oily skin types (though I'd definitely recommend it for fall and winter). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to eliminate blackheads completely—it just reduced the surface oil a bit. When emulsifying, don't pour water all at once. Instead, add a little water at a time and massage gently with rolling motions three times to ensure makeup residue is completely removed. For eye and lip makeup, use a dedicated makeup remover first, then follow with this cleanser for a much more thorough cleanse.

Using a dedicated eye makeup remover first works perfectly. I'm also using it on my nose to help with blackhead removal, but I want to keep monitoring how it performs over time. Even though I have dry skin and usually avoid heavy exfoliating toners, I was really excited to try this because I heard it finishes light and refreshing. Plus, the fact that it's specially formulated to target blackheads and whiteheads - my biggest skin concern - made me think, "This has to be mine!" It's gentle and non-irritating, so I can use it every day without any worry. Since I'm only using the cleansing oil now, my routine is so much simpler. I don't usually wear heavy makeup, but I do a double cleanse because of sunscreen. This cleansing oil removes everything so well that I've actually stopped using my cleansing foam and just stick with this one. I discovered there are other products in the Ganghwa Gyodong Rice line too. Thank you so much for working so hard on these products! I haven't noticed dramatic changes in my blackheads and whiteheads yet, but I guess that's because they've built up over time. I'm planning to use this consistently every single day, so I'm looking forward to seeing results!

Cleansing power I typically only wear base makeup, lipstick, and eyebrow product, and the cleansing strength is actually pretty solid! Even when I pump it multiple times, the product doesn't come out easily. This is definitely a letdown.
