Even though I have sensitive skin, I've never experienced any irritation after using this product. I've consistently gone through 2-3 bottles, and my complexion has genuinely become so much brighter and more radiant. The absorption is incredibly fast! The texture is a bit thick, so it feels sticky on the skin. This formula has a rich, viscous texture similar to snail mucin serums, but now it's vegan and plant-based. After cleansing and toning, I applied it and was honestly surprised—when I dispensed it with the dropper, I could see it stretching and flowing, which made me wonder if it would absorb well. But it absolutely does! That was unexpected. Since I have very dry skin, this product alone doesn't provide intense hydration, but it's perfect for layering one or two light applications in the middle steps of my routine. If I had to nitpick, I initially thought the hydration level was a bit underwhelming, but then I realized this is an essence-type treatment meant to build a foundation in your skincare routine, not a heavy moisturizer, so it's actually perfect! Honestly, there aren't any real drawbacks. Since I have dry skin, this works perfectly for me! It's lightweight yet has just the right consistency, and I love how fresh and clean it feels. I received it as a complimentary gift from an event and have been using it. Now that the weather is getting cooler, it seems to work even better for me, and the hydration and moisture absorption are really impressive. It seems fine through spring, summer, and early fall. For winter, I think mixing it with the mink oil I have would help boost the moisturizing benefits. I'm glad The Face Shop is coming out with products like this. This seems to work really well for dry skin types like mine.

The formula is rich and thick, so it's not the lightest feel, but if I apply it before my cream and pat it in gently, it absorbs well enough and doesn't get pushed around. My skin feels really comfortable with it. The thick formula makes me wonder if it's causing my other creams to shift a bit, and honestly, all three creams I'm using right now seem to do the same thing.
