The hydration feels so plump and bouncy that it holds its own even when layered with rich moisturizing creams like All Young - it doesn't pale in comparison at all. It's incredibly moisturizing. You can apply it generously all over your face without any hesitation. I wish it were a bit more hydrating, but honestly, it's still very moisturizing. 1. It's perfect to apply before your rich hydrating cream during your nighttime skincare routine. 2. After using a sheet mask, layer this on top and your skin will feel beautifully plump and hydrated with a moisture-locking effect. 3. No breakouts I'm someone who gets even the smallest blemishes whenever I switch up my skincare routine, but this product didn't cause any irritation from the first application. I'm really happy with it. 2. Hydrating and refreshing It's perfect for summer application. During winter, I usually need to add a richer hydrating serum to my routine, but in summer I can finish with just toner-lightweight serum-hydrating moisturizer, or even toner-this hydrating moisturizer-cream. Winter is a different story, but for summer it's ideal. 3. Blends beautifully with rich creams When I want to use just a small amount of a thick cream that's hard to spread, I love mixing it with this product for easier application. 1. Can feel dry Like I mentioned, it's sufficient during peak summer, but winter is a no-go. A richer serum is essential. Even a thick cream can't fix the dehydration underneath the surface. You really need that serum layer in between. Regular moisturizing creams feel too heavy and tend to pill, but this product works perfectly under sunscreen without any lifting or separation. It's ideal for my oily skin, but those with dry skin might find it too drying. When my skin is feeling sensitive, I skip other products and just layer this cream two or three times after cleansing.
