First of all, the formula is incredibly gentle. Compared to other serums out there, this one really has such a mild and soothing composition. Usually I layer serums about 3 to 4 times while applying, but this one doesn't absorb as quickly. Since this product contains exfoliating ingredients, it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Personally, I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation from it, so it's been fine for me. That said, sometimes I do notice a slight sensation of dead skin cells being gently lifted away from my skin. This serum before makeup is absolutely perfect! First of all, because it has PHA in it, it's not irritating at all and my makeup applies beautifully! Why aren't you buying this? I'm on my third bottle right now and I'll keep using it before doing my makeup. No breakouts either! I have trouble-prone, sensitive skin with redness, but honestly this doesn't irritate it at all and I love it. When I apply and do my makeup, I genuinely get that gorgeous dewy glow. For a serum, the absorption is really impressive and I love that it doesn't have a strong scent. I haven't used it long enough to give it a full rating, so I'm giving it 4 stars for now. I don't really have any complaints yet. Once I've used it longer, I'll update my review if anything comes up.
