This product is so hydrating and moisturizing that I barely need any other base products - I just apply it on its own. It feels like I'm applying a hydrating moisturizer, and it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable at all! I love that it's not irritating, and it spreads so smoothly and effortlessly. On days when I layer multiple base products underneath, I've noticed the sunscreen sometimes pills or flakes off - though I'm not entirely sure if that's due to the base products or this product itself. There's a slightly artificial scent to it, but it's not overwhelming. If you're not particularly sensitive to fragrance, you should be fine with it.
