I thought it would be a matte lip tint, but it's not nearly as matte as I expected. It actually has a nice blurring effect that softens fine lines around my lips, and I'm really happy with how it performs. Either the bottle is smaller than I thought, or I'm just going through it super fast. But honestly, using it up quickly is better than having it expire before I can finish it anyway! Just one swipe of this and my face feels alive! It works beautifully as a base or on its own. I'm recommending it to all my friends. You really need to exfoliate first, otherwise it can emphasize dry patches and flakiness. The staying power is really impressive, but I have to say the color is completely different from what I expected. The shade doesn't match the official product photos at all. My other lip tints display pretty much exactly like the brand shows them, but this one is totally off. It's way darker than it should be. I'm really disappointed with how it turned out.

The color is genuinely stunning, and it works beautifully regardless of your skin tone. The smooth, buttery texture feels so comfortable on the lips, and true to Tonymory's quality, the pigment stays true to the shade with excellent color payoff. There are quite a few drawbacks, unfortunately. The Berry Shush shade is a light pink, so it doesn't have the best staying power compared to other colors. Plus, the applicator tip doesn't reach all the way to the bottom of the container, which makes it really inconvenient as you get toward the end of the product. You have to apply more pressure to get product out, and this causes the tip to wear down and get damaged easily. The applicator and formula don't seem to work well together, honestly. The tip peels off way too easily, and it was like that even when I first bought it. Despite these frustrations, the color is absolutely perfect for me, so I keep using it anyway. Great for everyday wear! I love how this shade gives just the right amount of radiance without feeling heavy. The color is so natural and the formula isn't drying at all - it has this amazing velvet-like texture that feels luxurious. Plus, the container is totally secure with no leaking, which is perfect for tossing in my bag! The product runs out way too quickly. I feel like I'm scraping the bottom of the container constantly, and there's barely anything left to use. It glides on so smoothly and hydrated. The application feels incredibly light and thin, like you're barely wearing anything at all. The shade runs much darker than expected. This has a light undertone and works beautifully as a base color. It's a clean pink that doesn't make your lips look washed out even when applied bare-faced. I was worried the creamy formula would pick up too much product on the applicator, but there's a clever plastic mechanism inside the container that helps control the amount, making application really easy. It goes on smoothly without causing any irritation, and the color payoff is impressive—you get almost exactly what you see in the tube. The staying power is just okay though. The longevity is a bit disappointing. It spreads smoothly without clumping at first and absorbs beautifully. It doesn't feel overly matte and applies like a lightweight mousse. I really loved the pink shade initially. After a while, it starts to clump up. The color payoff isn't very strong, so it fades away when you eat. Plus, as time goes on, the shade shifts to a more plum-toned color. I've been using the Perfect Lips Shocking Lip regularly, and when it came time to repurchase, I spotted this shade and loved it so much I had to try it. I'm usually not the biggest fan of matte lip products, but since it's from Tony Mory, I trusted the brand and grabbed it anyway—and honestly, Tony Mory never disappoints! I have this habit of picking at my lips whenever I get a little flakiness, so I really can't stand lip products that emphasize dry patches. Even though this has a powdery finish, it's surprisingly not overly matte. How do I describe this... it feels a bit like roasted sweet potato dust on my lips? Haha, I know that sounds weird, but it's actually really moisturizing! The shade leans orange, which normally doesn't work with my skin tone at all. When I apply it directly to my lips, it reads more rosy, but when I do an overlip application and it extends onto my skin, you can see that orange undertone peeking through, which is a bummer. My lips are naturally quite small, so overlining is pretty much essential for me, and that's the disappointing part. The formula is actually perfect for overlining, which makes it even more frustrating!
