The houttuynia cordata and other calming ingredients seem to be included at just the right amount without being irritating. It's wonderful for sun-stressed skin in summer and skin irritated by heating systems. In summer, I even pop it in the fridge to chill it down and use it as a cooling mask—works beautifully. The 100ml size is convenient to keep on hand and use regularly. The price feels really reasonable too. There is a slight sticky residue that lingers. That said, it doesn't feel heavy or drag across the skin. When I use it alone, my combination skin tends to feel dry, so I've had to layer it with an emulsion or cream on top. The cooling effect is absolutely amazing! It feels so refreshing. You can even use it before makeup and it's perfect. I apply it during my evening skincare routine before bed, and it instantly cools everything down and takes away that uncomfortable heat sensation completely. I honestly can't think of any downsides.
